Laws Regarding Lead Based Paint |

Beginning
3 years after enactment, purchasers of pre-1978 houses must
be given an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) lead hazard information
pamphlet and up to 10 days to get a lead hazard risk assessment or
inspection. The Sales contract must contain a prescribed Lead Warning
Statement and sellers must disclose the presence of known lead- based
paint.
